RM Aurora quickly became a new favorite of mine. Blooms have long, crisp white pointed petals with purple-blushed tips and emanate a greenish-yellow glow from the centers—reminiscent of an aurora. Flowers are highly versatile, almost acting as a neutral, and pair beautifully with almost anything. I love this one and can’t recommend it enough.
Photographed with RM Aurora are dahlias Hollyhill Lilibet (a match made in heaven), RM Hannah Jo, Bloomquist Compare, RM Parfait, Hollyhill Pink Martini, 20th Ave Tradition, Arnside Rose, Sugartown Sunrise, Lilac Time, and Lee’s Pink Grapefruit; LPG blooms are typically much larger, but smaller blooms like these can be achieved by not disbudding.
